what matters | proofreading matters

I am passionate about preserving the English language!

To the court reporter: I am trained in proofreading transcripts for court reporters, having successfully completed the course, Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ and earning the prestigious Certificate of Completion.

As an enthusiastic transcript proofreader, I am committed to helping the court reporter achieve the highest level of excellence by striving for that flawless document. I can provide skill and reliability to the many facets of this uniquely specialized and fascinating field.

Aiding me in this endeavor are several resources. First and foremost is you, the court reporter, and your own personal preferences. I also rely heavily on Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, Margie Wakeman Wells’ Good Punctuation/Bad Grammar, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, and of course, everybody’s friend — Google!

To the author: I am a seasoned typist and editor, dedicated to producing an orderly, written record of your manuscript, interview, podcast, memoir, even the family vacation. Whatever the document — large or small — proofreading matters, and I am passionate about the preservation of the English language.

To the merchandiser: From real estate to jewelry, I can produce a brochure design or just provide you with that second set of eyes and proofread the one you’ve already created.

I am reliable and dogged in my commitment to my goals — the pursuit of perfection and meeting your deadline!
